Welcome to the Bristol & West Water Polo League, formerly the Bristol & District Water Polo League, founded in 1957.

Here you willl find information, not only of the league, but also the teams that participate in the BWWPL.

There are 15 teams in all that go to make up the five divisions of the league, which is registered and affiliated to Gloucestershire ASA and ASA South West, and is governed by ASA and operates under FINA rules. There are three senior men's divisions, one women's division and new in 2008, an under-16 mixed league.

All of its participating referees are ASA qualified to ensure the highest quality of water polo in the South West area.

The particpants come from the counties of Devon, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire, and also South Wales, made up of club sides and university water polo teams.

You will see statistics concerning goal scored, appearances and major fouls by individuals, as well as league tables and players registered for this league.
