Winners of this year's British Water Polo League, the club’s roots lie at what was forBroadweir Pool many years the home of Bristol Central Swimming Club, Broadweir public baths, near Broadmead, sadly now demolished. The Club’s main training sessions now take place at the Bristol University Pool, at the rear of the Student's Union building in Queens Road, Clifton. The pool is one of the longest within the Bristol Area and the thirty six and two third yards from shallow to deep can be seen as quite daunting to new or young swimmers to the club. We therefore utilise more learner friendly pools around the area, Jubilee, St Mary Redcliffe and Clifton High School being three of these. The pools are used for our learn to swim and development programmes.

Bristol Uni PoolBristol Central’s three distinct swimming sections are: The Competitive Speed Section, including the 'learn to swim' and development programmes, is also responsible for the club's overall fitness level.
